Who Are We
Green Africa Foundation (NPC Reg: 2022/841515/08) is a nonprofit organisation based in South Africa, committed to driving sustainable development through clean energy solutions and gender-inclusive economic empowerment.
Our core mission is to empower underserved communities by expanding access to renewable energy while creating economic opportunities, especially for women, within the growing green economy. We believe in a just energy transition that not only reduces environmental impact but also uplifts those most affected by poverty and energy inequality.
Through our initiatives, we promote environmental responsibility, champion gender equality, and foster community development. By integrating social upliftment with sustainable technology, we aim to make a measurable social and environmental impact with every project — one solar panel, one empowered woman, and one thriving community at a time.
At Green Africa Foundation, we invite impact-driven individuals, partners, and organisations to join us in building a resilient and equitable future powered by clean energy.

A Green Africa Foundation’s vision often includes a world powered by clean energy, creating a sustainable and equitable economy. They envision a future where renewable energy is not only environmentally beneficial but also economically viable and accessible to all.
